NANO

A fast-paced boomer/looter shooter

Meet Hooper, you can call him Hoop. He just got fired from his job at Lightning-Fast Electronics and what do you know, he’s also just been infected with a hyper-intelligent sentient swarm of microscopic nano-bots capable of re-writing his DNA on the fly.

Shoot your way through apartments, stores and city streets, all the way up to the White House, Area-51 and beyond!

When killed, enemies can be absorbed by Hoop to replenish his health, and metallic objects can be destroyed and ingested to replenish his ammo.

All weapons in the game are broken down into Cores and Mods. Cores are the base of the weapon and Mods can be swapped, upgraded and side-graded, any kind of ‘graded. Weapon mods can spawn at different levels of quality as well as having special Perks such as acid bullets or spawning clouds of flesh eating nano-bots from freshly killed corpses.

The trusty shotgun, close-up nothing else hits quite like it. It’s got high damage and knockback, as well as the ability to hit multiple targets with one shot.

These qualities are balanced by a small mag size and slow reload, as well as considerable recoil.

This is my rifle, this is my gun - and they’re actually both for fighting and for fun! High fire rate combined with medium damage and mild armour piercing capabilities make this a Jack of All Trades kind of weapon.

A master of none, the rifle consumes lots of ammo and begins to fall off in effectiveness at longer ranges.

Want to shoot more bullets? Then the SMG is for you! Its extremely high fire rate will send more lead down range than any other weapon, its light recoil and fully automatic trigger make it a powerful damage dealing tool.

Just keep a close eye on your ammo, or before you know it you’ll be hearing the tell tale ‘Click’ of an empty mag.

The sniper, a gentleman’s gun. Don’t trouble yourself with closing the distance on an enemy, removing oneself from cover, just blow your enemies away from across the map with a calibre of shell designed for shooting the axles out of humvees!

Its penetration and extreme damage almost make up for its rare ammo and slow fire rate.

And last but not least, the pistol. Kind of like a short range sniper, high damage, poor everything else.

If you don’t like it as a pistol, you can always stick your craziest Mods on this bad boy and turn it into a grapple hook or a grenade launcher, the possibilies are *nearly* endelss!

The maps of NANO are intented to feel like those modded Quake maps people would make of your highschool or a local store, familiar places in an unfamiliar setting.

Maps are chock-full of destructible objects that when destroyed explode into collectible pieces that the nano-bots can process into rewards for the player. Collected enough cobalt from computer hard-drives? Here’s a shiny new weapon mod! That kind of thing.

Cops are the most common enemy you’ll be encountering. Try not to think about them as people.

Lookit’ him go!
